On September 8th, Pedro and Valentina went out for the very first time.
They met outside Citibank, and Valentina’s first, innocent question was:
“Where is your car?”
Pedro answered with a hidden smile:
“Don’t worry, I already contacted my driver.”
(It turned out to be an Uber.)
And that’s how a beautiful story began. From the moment they saw each other, it felt as if they had known one another for a long time true partners in adventure. After finishing their studies in Quito, they both landed their first jobs and everything seemed to be going well… until oops! the pandemic arrived. Valentina moved to Loja with her family, while Pedro stayed in Quito. But distance never stood in their way. Pedro, always constant, made sure to visit her whenever he could.
Later on, they decided to move to France to pursue their dreams. Valentina went first, and Pedro followed shortly after. They spent four years living as expats a long journey that, with perseverance and hard work, they continue to walk together every day. In February 2025, Pedro proposed 💍 to Valentina in her favorite place: the Seine River, right in front of the Eiffel Tower 🗼.
Coincidentally, that same day marked the anniversary of her grandfather’s passing, who now watches over her from heaven. We truly felt it was a blessing sent from above.
We are beyond happy to share that our wedding will take place on June 20, 2026, at La Palma Polo Club. We would love nothing more than to celebrate the most special day of our lives with all of you.

Pedro is my life partner, my safe place, and my best friend.
I remember the first time we saw each other it’s hard to put into words, but it felt as if we had known one another forever. It was like talking to a best friend from another lifetime: genuine, fun, and always bringing light to others.
I’ve realized that we are very different in many ways. You are an explorer and a thinker, always searching for meaning and answers. I, on the other hand, am brave, competitive, and creative. I feel everything deeply and love starting new projects. That mix is the perfect balance, and that’s why I value finding each other so much.
Pedro, I thank God for giving me you as my partner, and my family for blessing our journey together. Without a doubt, I’m ready to be your best friend for life.
I love you so much.
Tina means home to me—my peace, the person who pushes me to grow. She is my safe haven, the one who clears my doubts when I have them. When she hugs me, I feel recharged; her kisses are my fuel.
She spoils me, takes care of me, and gives me unconditional love and that is priceless to me. It fills my heart and my spirit. She constantly motivates me to become a better professional and to challenge myself, which is one of the things I love most about her. Tina never lets me stay in my comfort zone; she always pushes me toward new horizons.
Tina, you are my queen, the person I love the most. You have always been unconditional with me. I love you with all my heart, and I want you to know there is no one better for me than you.
You are my perfect complement, and you make my life better and a lot more fun.
The church and reception are technically in the outskirts of Quito. However, most tourist activities are in Quito, therefore, you may want to stay in the Metropolitan area of Quito if you are planning to stay a few days to explore. If you prefer to be close to the reception then the Puembo area (approx. 45 mins from central Quito) is your best option.

We know you are thinking about the details of the trip. For this reason, we have made this section so you can learn a little more about our wedding destination.
Even though Quito is on the equator, it gets cold at night.
One of the most common misconceptions about Ecuador is that because the country is on the equator, the whole nation bakes in sweltering heat. Far from it. As noted above, Quito is high above sea level. During the day, it rarely gets any warmer than 66F (19C) and once the sun goes down it can get as bracing as 50F (10C) until morning.
Elevation: 2,850 m
At one of the highest elevations in the world – and the closest to zero latitude – Quito is like a lost city in the clouds, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. Its history stretches back for centuries, which is plain to see in the city’s captivating historical district.
Elevation: 35m
